I would totally do that, if I weren't too embarrassed to ever show up at an AK rando ride again.
Definitely so. Though it is a long way to travel for a 200k.
Answer one: after the cook-out and party, wake early and ride back to the car.Answer two: make a week of it and ride the 400K the following weekend.Still a long way to go, of course.
I'm absolutely open to getting back on a bike in Alaska at some point, whether for an organized ride or otherwise. Let's look into this for future years.I'm also aiming to join Matt Roy for a ride around New England one of these days.
